San Francisco Day 1

OMG What a day. 1 bus, 2 trains, 2 planes, lots of walking and Peter and I have arrived! We almost missed our flight it was like any airport movie scene we were running like the wind. We made it though...obviously. When we finally figured out where we were staying we decided to get food (we only had 4 hours of sleep and a bagel and that was IT). We ended up in a very shady part of town also known as the Tenderloin Yieks!!!! North Minneapolis without the low income housing. So far, I'd say 95% of the ppl here are crazy. Oh ya we recieved a valuable piece of information, "the bart goes in, and the bart goes out."

I saw my first mountains today. Our hostel room is nice and everyone here is very welcoming and polite. I have enclosed some shots of my first mountains. The view from our room and photos of ppl we were watching when we were dangling from the scaffolding. Our day ended with BBQ ribs, turkey curry, and margaritas.

Peter says he is going to start spelling his name Peetr and that "San Francisco is a party in your face...and your mouth".
