SORRY IT'S BEEN SO LONG

Sorry it's been so long since the last entry. I've been soooooo very busy and a lot has happened. So, since getting my license I have now got a license plate that says California on it. Thank god I passed the smog test. haha. I have my apartment, new friends, and a great "for now" job. I'm going to make three or so separate blog entries to get you all up to date.

In this series of photos is our trip north for Thanksgiving and an evening in Castro. We were feeling a little homesick and felt like we were missing out on Christmas a little. We decided to head to Castro for the Christmas tree lighting. It was a very beautiful tree with lots of beautiful gay men skittering around it. The tree made us hungry so we went window shopping and stopped at a little asian place. The food made us thirsty so we went to this little bar on the corner of Castro and Market. All old professional gay men. Very interesting place. very nice people, we sat at the end next to some younger folk. The whole time old dudes were hitting on the poor young guys the same way i get hit on at bars by old dudes. I felt their pain. We stayed for quite a while and talked to a guy from England who was meeting a girl at the bar. I don't think he knew he was in a gay bar. The drinks then made Peter frisky and on the way back to the car Peter decided to hang from trees and light poles.

Thanksgiving was spent with my aunty and uncle and cousin Serena in the mountains with their mountain friends. HUGE meal, a delicious meal and very colorful conversation. Something about how bread makes you gay and ham probably has mob members in it. We ate while Led Zeppelin serenaded us in the background. The boys played horseshoes in the backyard. I sipped festive drinks inside. Then we had a few matches of pool in the basement. Drinking and pool goes together like peanut butter and hot sauce. Except for Aunty Sue, she kicked butt. Peter won lots too....by default every time. haha. ask him about it. It was a very good time, very relaxing and I was so glad to get to know my family a little better. The next day we went for a hike. It was beautiful we were surrounded by huge Sugar Pines that had the biggest pine cones I have ever seen!! Peter picked a bunch and we have a whole bag now that we will bake and send out to everyone. haha. watchout!!
